Statement of Faith

The Loft Staff believes the following:
GOD - We believe in one eternal God.
God is made of three persons; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. This holy trinity is made
of three separate persons who have the same essence of deity.
JESUS
– We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin in the line of David as was prophesized in the Old Testament. Jesus
is wholly God and wholly man. He is the Messiah who was God’s one and only son who was sent to Earth
to die on the cross for all of humanity. His death on the cross was a payment for the sins of all men.
We believe that 3 days later, Christ resurrected and ascended into Heaven, where He is preparing a place for believers.
BIBLE
- We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments is inspired by God. The Bible is
a final authority that can be used for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.

MAN –
We believe God created man in his own image. The punishment for mans initial sin was a physical and spiritual
death. We believe each man is born with a sinful nature as a result of this fall. Without a sacrifice,
man would be separated from God for eternity.
SALVATION - We believe that man must believe in Jesus Christ and accept
his death as a substitute for his sins. With this acceptance, man will be restored and have eternal life
with God in Heaven. We can only gain eternal life through belief in Christ and acceptance of his death
and resurrection. We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again and will
be children of God.
RETURN OF CHRIST – We
believe Christ will return to gather up all of the believers to take with him into an eternal heaven.
